As part of its mandate to assist member countries in strengthening democratic institutions and processes and enabling citizen participation and representation during elections, a Commonwealth Observer Group (COG), including Guyanese media veteran Nazima Raghubir, was deployed to locations across Trinidad and Tobago for the country’s parliamentary elections today, a Commonwealth Secretariat release has announced.
