[Dabanga] Sudan -- On the morning of April 15, 2023, Khartoum woke up to the sounds of heavy weapons and deafening shelling that cut off civilian life, announcing the beginning of a bloody conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces. While silence prevailed in the streets of the capital and movement stopped, the pens of Sudanese journalists were writing accounts of the moment, conveying the sounds of cannons with complete neutrality, shedding light on human stories written under the whizz of bullets.
