[The Herald] Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Dr Moussa Faki Mahamat, has welcomed decisions made by the Southern Africa Development Community (Sadc) and the East African Community (EAC) to hold a joint summit to find a lasting solution to the conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that has resulted in the death and displacement of millions of people.
