A former chairman of the Special Investigation Panel (SPIP) for the Recovery of Public Property, Okoi Obono-Obla, has revealed that the loot recovered during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari was returned to the looters. Obono-Obla made this allegation on Saturday during an interview with TV presenter Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On Podcast. The former SPIP chairman also spoke on the level of corruption in the Nigerian system, lamenting that it is very bad. Speaking of how bad corruption is in the country, he disclosed that all his efforts to bring many looters to justice were met with frustration
