Since the weekend up to Monday, social media has been inundated with posts about which of the two embattled Speakers--Fonati Koffa or Richard Koon--received an invitation to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama. These Facebook stunts, intended to validate the legitimacy of one Speaker over the other, are nothing short of a national embarrassment.
