The country has recorded 121 new covid19 cases and two more fatalities pushing the death toll to 3,967.
The latest deaths include one elderly man and one elderly woman with multiple comorbidities.
The Ministry of Health's 4 pm update on Tuesday showed active cases moved from 8,050 on Monday down to 7,843 on Tuesday afternoon.
There are 141 covid19 patients in hospital – two in ICU and three in the high dependency unit – 7,696 people in home isolation.
The country has recorded 164,950 covid19 infections since its first case in March 2020. Of these 153,140 people have recovered.
A total of 761,423 samples have been sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency, the Tobago Regional Health Authority, UWI and other local sites for testing.
A little over one year since the launch of the national vaccination programme 713,167 people have taken a covid19 vaccine and 161,823 people got a booster shot. The ministry's data said, Tuesday afternoon, 50.9 per cent of the population has been fully vaccinated.
