Homicide detectives in the FCT police command have launched a full-scale investigation into the gruesome killing of a retired army Brigadier General in one of the estates in FCT. The estate was invaded by armed robbers, who raided house to house. Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the killing, noted that FCT CP, Benneth Igwe has launched a high-level investigation into the matter.
