A historical marker dedicated to Emmett Till has gone missing, adding to the series of previously stolen or vandalized structures dedicated to the boy who was brutally murdered as a 14-year-old in 1955. The Emmett Till Interpretive Center announced the news on Thursday, saying the sign appears to have been removed after it was hit by a vehicle.
