Press Release - The Red Cross Society of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC Red Cross), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) are gravely concerned by the deepening humanitarian crisis in the Kivu region of the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), particularly in the city of Goma. Thousands of civilians, including women and children and wounded and sick people, are bearing the brunt of the conflict.
