[GAVI] Geneva -- In 2024, lower-income countries supported by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance contributed more than US$ 250 million, a record, towards their own immunisation programmes. 19% year-on-year increase in financing, secured primarily from domestic resources, underlines countries' commitment towards sustainably financing vaccination. From 2026 to 2030, low- and middle-income countries are expected to contribute US$ 4 billion - or nearly half - of the costs vaccination programmes introduced with Gavi support.
