The migrants from Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Eritrea, Nigeria, Palestine, Sudan and Somalia. They were sighted in international waters according to the Emergency Life Support head of mission. Their boat was “drifting away from the Libyan coasts”, as its outboard engine was out of service since hours.
