The California Democratic Party Black Caucus (CDP Black Caucus) joined hands with other women organizations this past weekend‌. Their goal: to turn up the pressure on California Gov. Gavin Newsom to appoint a Black woman to replace outgoing Sen. Kamala Harris in the U.S. Senate.
