That support includes the love and loyalty of local civilians who see the Don as a Robin Hood figure.

If for example, the Don is properly vested with public officials, it may very well be an assumable risk.

This Don speaks to the hearts and minds of a specific underserved electorate who faithfully populate his MAGA rallies.

Public Officials like Barr, McConnell, Graham and all but a few Senate Republicans are shameless sycophants of the Don.

The Don has unleashed and awakened a campaign, not just against him, but against those with whom he has identified, signaling empathy, and his affinity towards White Supremacy to his base.
