Ward 5 Council Member Announces Bill to Address Pollution Hot Spots

Council member Zachary Parker has introduced legislation that would require a Cumulative Impact Statement whenever polluting facilities seek to obtain or renew a permit within communities facing high pollution burdens, and would create a new energy and environmental justice office within the D.C. Department of Energy and the Environment.
