Virginia State University is set to host its commencement ceremonies with keynote speakers Doug Wilder and Bobby Scott. Wilder, the first Black governor of Virginia, will address graduates from the College of Education and College of Humanities and Social Sciences, while Scott, the first African-American elected to Congress from Virginia since Reconstruction, will speak to graduates from various colleges.
