Top Para Trap shooter has high praise for Barbados - Barbados Today

England’s number one Para Trap shooter Keith White has given a thumbs up to Barbados for holding a world-class event.The 51-year-old White competed in the recently concluded Barbados International Trap and Skeet Invitational, which was held at the Barbados Clay Target Association Range over the weekend.White, who shoots from a wheelchair, placed third in the trapshooting final, behind the Barbados duo of Tosh Jones and Aiden Johnson, who placed first and second respectively.In an interview with Barbados TODAY, White, who resides in Edinburgh, Scotland, said he was especially impressed with the facility as well as the level of competition.“It was my first trip to Barbados and it’s not going to be my last. I’m already planning to come back next year,” the bronze medalist at the 2022 World Championships and European Championships said.
