Thurgood Marshall Jr.

Thurgood Marshall Jr. is a Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and a Principal with ML Consulting. His legal practice focuses on government relations and investigations.

Working at the intersection of law and public policy, Marshall has practiced law for 17 years and he served in all three branches of the federal government during an 18-year career in public service. He held counsel and staff director positions on the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Senate Commerce Committee.

Marshall also served on the White House senior staff in President Bill Clinton’s administration, first as Vice President Gore’s Director of Congressional Affairs and later as Director of Cabinet Affairs for The President.

Marshall is a former member of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Postal Service and served as its Chairman. His non-profit board experience includes the Ford Foundation where he has been a Trustee since 2007.
