The Secretary of State's office recently discovered a 2019 computer coding issue related to REAL IDs that prevented approximately 5,400 Illinois residents from being added to the voting rolls, but the office is working with the Illinois State Board of Elections to process the voter registration applications before the Nov. 5 general election.
