On Saturday, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio lauded the Guyanese community for “contributing to the leadership in New York City in a very big way," as the Little Guyana Avenue sign was unveiled at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard in Queens.
