The semester is coming to a close, spring is in bloom, and you know what that means: the 2023 probate season has arrived. New initiates of Black fraternities and sororities are having their probates, a staple in Black Greekdom . They are a celebration of membership in a new family that shares a sacred bond to follow the same mission of helping others and serving the community. The Divine Nine , a collective unit of historically Black fraternities and sororities, have provided safe spaces and community for Black students since the early 1900s. These new member presentations showcase to family, friends and the greater campus the members’ commitment to the sorority or fraternity for a lifetime.  Here are the best Black probate photos and videos of the spring 2023 season:
