February is recognized as Black History Month, and in Los Angeles, there were many events taking place to celebrate the accomplishments of African-Americans in the United States. The celebration remain fluid, as history continues to be made, look no further than the recent Winter Olympics and the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.
