ROLLING OUT - Carruth reportedly hired three men to kill Cherica Adams and her unborn son on Nov. 16, 1999. Adam was able to make a 911 call after the shooting and detail the incident to authorities before falling into a coma and succumbing to her injuries on Dec. 14, 1999. Carruth, a first-round pick of the Panthers in 1997, was convicted and served 19 years in prison.
