Guyana-born, self-taught edible arrangement artist, Monica De Freitas-Vollmer, never expected that her love of drawing would lead her to carving fruits and receiving orders for her fruit bowls, fruit baskets, salads and vegetable arrangements at the grocery store where she has worked since 2008, the year she migrated to the USA.
