By: Norman J. Dotson Jr.  Pride in oneself, especially in the LGBTQ+ community, is lifelong thanks to prominent figures such as Black transgender activist Marsha P. Johnson.    Many in the community celebrate their queerness in June during Pride month by living out in the open, rocking rainbow gear, attending parades that are filled with love and freedom. The journey to get to this point was hard-fought and is thanks to Johnson and other activists who sought equality and freedom.   “Marsha P.
