From 1981-1982 he was the Redskin’s offensive coordinator and offensive line coach then became the assistant head coach from 1983 to 1989.

After working as the Phoenix Cardinals head coach, Joe Bugel returned to the home team as the assistant head coach-offense from 2004-2009.

He is seen as one of the greatest offensive line coaches in NFL history and we are saddened that he has passed.
