Postdoctoral Fellowship, Northwestern University – ASALH – The Founders of Black History Month

The Department of Black Studies at Northwestern University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship with a start date of September 1, 2024. Candidates with PhDs granted between 2022 and the start date are encouraged to apply. Candidates can be from any (inter-) discipline, but should have a commitment to the field of Black Studies, and have a research and teaching profile in Black histories in the Americas, addressing environmental studies and/or health. This is a residential fellowship. The candidate will teach two quarter-long courses in the Department per year, and participate in the intellectual life of the Department and University.
