France 24 reçoit Philippe Lazzarini, commissaire général de l’Office de secours et de travaux des Nations unies pour les réfugiés de Palestine (l'UNRWA). Il affirme craindre le pire si l'offensive israélienne se déplace dans le sud de la bande Gaza. Cette partie du territoire palestinien est encore plus densément peuplée depuis que les populations du nord s'y réfugient. Il espère également que les appels à la retenue du gouvernement américain seront entendus pour éviter de nouvelles victimes.
