Sarauw’s recent op-ed paints a misleading and inaccurate picture of a supposed chronic blood shortage in Virgin Islands hospitals, which includes the Schneider Regional Medical Center. Her article, seemingly aimed at garnering attention, irresponsibly undermines the efforts of our hospital and fosters unnecessary mistrust among the public.
