The men of the Omicron Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, led by Basileus Dr. Irving Robinson, gave away 15 gift cards in $100 denominations to combat setbacks that local individuals and families are facing during the COVID-19 crisis.

The chapter is based in Daytona Beach.

On May 16, fraternity members assembled outside of New Saint James Missionary Baptist Church to distribute the contributions.

The donations went to students, furloughed workers, a family facing a health crisis, senior citizens on fixed incomes, and a patient at a local nursing home facility.

The men concluded their day by visiting outdoors with some of their senior brothers who have been shut in.
