It has come to be my strongest belief that those who seek to keep social politics out of sporting arenas are not necessarily blind to the inefficient purpose of their wish; they simply desire the refuge of apathy. The painfully inept argument that 'sports is outside politics' continues to be made everywhere on this planet....
