Former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Clarke Franklin was honored with a street sign and park, renaming Central Avenue as Shirley Clarke Franklin Boulevard S.W. and Westside Reservoir Park as Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, in recognition of her contributions to the city's infrastructure and community development.
