Malawi Government Apologizes Over Police Detention of Journalist

[VOA] Blantyre, Malawi -- Malawi's attorney general has apologized for police detaining a journalist and trying to force him to reveal his sources on a government corruption story. The rare public apology came after the government faced criticism from advocates for press freedom and the U.S. and British embassies in Malawi.
