New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has become a target of outrage after striking a nerve with his tone deaf comments about kneeling protests in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

“I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country,” said Brees during an interview with Yahoo Finance.

Jackson added, “Ain’t no straddling the fence…f–k Drew Brees.”

“In an attempt to talk about respect, unity, and solidarity centered around the American flag and the national anthem, I made comments that were insensitive and completely missed the mark on the issues we are facing right now as a country.

In the comments of his public apology most people held nothing back.
