BULAWAYO artiste Stuart Chikuni, popularly known by the stage name Stewie Le Savage yesterday launched his first music video titled Revelations. BY SILAS NKALA Chikuni (24) told NewsDay Life Style that the video was meant to make people imagine what judgment day would be like for them after they die. “The Revelations music video is a fusion of spoken word and Amapiano and it addresses the preparedness of people for judgment day. It was produced by Shuza Drums and Tha Dawg,” Chikuni said. The video was directed by Brilliant Delani Dlodlo of Brints Online and stars reggae/dancehall songbird Mandy Mae, Afro pop dancer Lisa Chikerema and Kimoe from Dynamics Dance Crew. The song was released on May 28. Chikuni said Shuza Drums, currently working from South Africa, produced the beat while Bulawayo-based Tha Dawg engineered the vocals. His first production, Musical Therapy, in 2018 became his breakout song highlighting the positive influence of music to people before releasing a single titled Voice of the oppressed featuring Shuza Drums the same year.
