The MEAC is officially in trouble.

Those are the words I said on last week’s FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW. I prefaced it by saying if the MEAC loses another school.

The MEAC has lost another school.

Bethune-Cookman announced late Thursday that it will join the SWAC beginning in 2021 in a unanimous vote by the B-CU board of trustees, ending the affiliation it had with the MEAC since 1979.
