Gate Anime season 1 of the series was premiered on July 4, 2015, and ended in September 2015 and was completed in 12 episodes.

Publishers have not officially announced the Gate Season 3, but it is expected that the publisher will soon release the date as the VFX team who previously worked on Season 1 and 2 has been hired for season 3 too.
