According to REVOLT TV, former Bad Boy signee Shyne (pictured) has been nominated by the Belizean United Democratic Party to run for a seat on the nation’s House of Representatives.

Shyne (born Jamal Barrow) has an uncle named Michael Finnegan who currently occupies the seat.

In the House of Representative seat he is aspiring to fill, Shyne will represent the district of Mesopotamia in Belize City, a municipality with a population of nearly 60,000 people.

Both Shyne and Diddy were criminally charged after the incident, which involved some disgruntled partygoers who got into it with the Bad Boy camp.

Shyne was deported back to his native Belize in 2009 after he served his prison sentence for attempted murder.
