Speaking virtually to students in Atlanta on Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), said that“the undeniable effects of racism” have led to the health disparities experienced by African Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans during the pandemic.
