Salmon, Contributing Writer Sabila Khan is one of more than 209,000 American families who have lost a loved one to COVID-19 since the global pandemic slammed the United States in March of this year. On Sunday, October 4 at noon, she and others around the US will publicly honor victims of coronavirus at an hour-long memorial event on the National Mall in Washington, DC.
