Chadian security forces opened fire on anti-gov't demonstrators Thursday (Oct 20), wounding at least 300 people. Thousands took part in a banned protest to oppose the son of the late president who took the reins of the nation. The PM announced a curfew and suspended the activities of thmain parties.
