More than a year since the World Health Organization confirmed the Coronavirus as a pandemic on March 11, 2020, Watson and others with close views of the most sacred of gatherings now see the diminishing homegoing ceremonies as possibly leading to a COVID-inspired culture change in the nation's Black community.
