The sunny day was a perfect backdrop for an early celebration to honor and appreciate the mothers who contribute to the betterment of their neighborhoods. On Thursday, May 11, Councilmembers Heather Hutt and Marqueece Harris-Dawson brought over 500 mothers together for an unforgettable afternoon luncheon filled with music and laughter. “Gathering as a community to honor and celebrate the incredible contributions of mothers is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience that lies within us.
