Her now brick-and-mortar Lexington Betty Smokehouse restaurant, which she founded with her wife Tanisha, is further proof. It has fans from all over the region and around the country who crave her luxurious smoked meats and “soulful sides” like gouda mac and cheese, brisket baked beans and collard greens.
