Camille Cosby, wife of incarcerated entertainer Bill Cosby, has broken her silence and shared her thoughts on his legal victory regarding the appeal of his 2018 sexual assault conviction.

In a recent interview with ABC News, Camille Cosby, 76, spoke pointedly about the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's decision to hear portions of his appeal.

"My first reaction is hopefulness, possibilities," Cosby told ABC News' Linsey Davis in the phone interview from her Massachusetts home.

Cosby said she is unbothered by any backlash from the #MeToo movement and those seeking justice for alleged acts of sexual assault, particularly for defending her husband while she supports other fights for rights in the American justice system.

"First of all, I don't care what they feel," Cosby said of such criticism, before alluding to the history of "not all white women, but particular white women" who have accused Black men of sexual assault without proof.
