The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has commenced the construction of a 30-bed hospital for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Bauchi State. The hospital project, valued at N500 million, is part of ASR Africa’s N10 billion security sector support grant, designed to support and enhance the armed forces and security agencies’ capacity to fulfill their mandate to effectively and efficiently serve the nation. The groundbreaking ceremony, which was held at the NCS command in Bauchi State on Monday, follows the presentation of award letters to Nigeria’s security agencies in December 2022 by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
