Savoy Magazine has announced its 2016 “Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America” in the 15th Anniversary Spring issue and online. The Savoy Top 100 is the definitive listing of African-American executives, influencers and achievers proactively impacting corporate America. John W. Thompson, Chairman of Microsoft and CEO of Virtual Instruments, is on the cover and featured in an exclusive interview.

In 10 years as CEO, Thompson’s leadership grew Symantec from $600 million to $6.5 billion in revenue. He was also the first and only African-American CEO of a major technology company at the time. In an exclusive interview, Thompson shares insights on leading the search that led to the appointment of Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella.
